First NCK qualification moment

BEAT Cycling Club

After a successful BEAT Club Day in Antwerp, Belgium, the BEAT-peloton travelled north to the next Club Day at the Proloog in Amerongen, The Netherlands! What promised to be a great day, turned out to be even better. Considering the short but intense periods of rain, everybody was glad the day started off inside, with a cup of coffee, the day’s briefing and the BEAT Brainstorm. As usual the Brainstorm provided us with great ideas and inspiration. Thank you all!

After a true cycling lunch and a moment of (mental) preparation, the pioneers left for a +-65km BEAT Ride through the Amerongen area. Heroically, they triumphed the occasional period of intense rain and started preparing for the big challenge awaiting them: the first qualifying round for the NCK-team time trial in Drenthe, The Netherlands, where 6 ladies and 5 men (together with Piotr Havik) will defend the BEAT-colours next September. The 5,2km time trial lap was completed with dedication and passion by all contestants, but as ever, there will be only one winner…

BEAT congratulates the winners: Joost van Wijngaarden and Daniëlle Malestein!
